SHOP.CA required a complete restructure of their website. I was responsible for the creation of a new customer experience which sought out to achieve sales targets as well as establishing, building and maintaining strong client relationships that are crucial to the continued growth of SHOP.CA’s Business. My wireframes were to set a new direction for online shopping that is unique, easy to use and simple to understand.
Results
Three groups of wireframes were created, each group consisting of 10 or more sections, heavily annotated and flushed out. Each section included tablet and mobile experiences. While not all of the work done within the wireframes was implemented, the work that was resulted in an immediate increase of sales and a decrease of cart abandonment by over 30% almost overnight.
All wireframes were broken down into three sections. Clickable sections, Marketing opportunities, and social media opportunities. Each wire had mobile and tablet versions as well.
I created mockups to assist in the visualization of the wireframes. Below is an example of the homepage and the drop down navigation.
